Johanna graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from WAIT in 1975. Her initial experience was working in tertiary hospitals delivering OT services to a wide range of medical conditions including but not limited to orthopaedics, head injuries, neurology, burns and cardiology. Johanna worked at Hollywood Hospital specialising in psychiatry, hand therapy & amputees and has extensive experience with setting up OT departments across Hospitals, Aged Care and Community organisations.
In 1990 she returned to Curtin University to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences (with an advanced specialisation in Rehabilitation Counselling). Her experience since that time has consisted of working in the Commonwealth, State and Private vocational rehabilitation sectors. Johanna has maintained and continues her love of expanding her knowledge & experience in all aspects of workplace rehabilitation. She was accrediated as a vocational rehabilitation provider in 1997.
Johanna has over forty years’ experience, extensive education and training and a passion about providing assistance to all parties to ensure injured workers return to work safely and quickly in realistic options that are sustainable & ongoing. Combine all these skills and attributes and you have a dedicated Vocational Rehabilitation Provider who is second to none.
Kellie initially worked in the field of Soft Tissue rehabilitation and neuromuscular care before moving into vocational rehabilitation for the last eight years. Kellie has had experience working as an Occupational Therapist in aged care, mental health, burns, paediatrics and occupational health and safety. Kellie is interested in injury prevention and she is passionate about facilitating and supporting individuals to return to work following an injury.
Kellie’s s areas of expertise are: Ergonomic assessments, Workplace assessments, Manual handling training, Redeployment advice and support, Job seeking, Developing and monitoring Graduated Return to Work Programs. Kellie joined Dynamic Focus in April 2011. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) from Curtin University of Technology WA 2007.
Rhiannan graduated with a Bachelor of Science & Rehabilitation from Edith Cowan University in January 2016. She initially worked as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist gaining hands on experience in restoring function and quality of life for injured workers and motor vehicle accident sufferers by empowering them through quality exercise. Rhiannan has also gained extensive experience in managing musculo-skeletal injuries, bone fractures/breaks, neuromuscular disorders, rehabilitation pre & post-surgery and other cases such as pain, stress, weight loss and psychological injuries. It was through her passion for providing a high quality service and striving for the best possible outcome that Rhiannan joined Dynamic Focus in November 2017. She continues to strive to obtain the best outcome in assisting her clients return to work. This includes undertaking regular training in all aspects of workplace rehabilitation.
Talya joined the team at Dynamic Focus in 2017. She has over 10 years’ experience in various roles within marketing and business development. She has a proven track record of developing new business, as well as organically growing and developing opportunities within an existing client base. She possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
With a genuine enjoyment in meeting with and talking to people from all walks of life, Talya is able to connect with each of her clients which allows her to identify their niche and work within their restrictions to source them the most suitable opportunities. This assists her to relate well to Dynamic Focus’ clients and to assist them in clarifying their strengths and needs as part of the return to work process.
