Johanna graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) from WAIT in 1975. Her initial experience was working in tertiary hospitals delivering OT services to a wide range of medical conditions including but not limited to orthopaedics, head injuries, neurology, burns and cardiology. Johanna worked at Hollywood Hospital specialising in psychiatry, hand therapy & amputees and has extensive experience with setting up OT departments across Hospitals, Aged Care and Community organisations. In 1990 she returned to Curtin University to complete her Post Graduate Diploma in Health Sciences (with an advanced specialisation in Rehabilitation Counselling). Her experience since that time has consisted of working in the Commonwealth, State and Private vocational rehabilitation sectors. Johanna has maintained and continues her love of expanding her knowledge & experience in all aspects of workplace rehabilitation. She was accredited as a vocational rehabilitation provider in 1997. Johanna has over forty years’ experience, extensive education and training and a passion about providing assistance to all parties to ensure injured workers return to work safely and quickly in realistic options that are sustainable & ongoing. Combine all these skills and attributes and you have a dedicated Vocational Rehabilitation Provider who is second to none.
