PLACEMENT ACTIVITIES
Placement
Activities are services directed towards placing an injured worker with
the original, or a new, employer.
Placement Activities take into consideration:
· Physical abilities as identified as a part of the Initial Assessment
· Vocational options as identified by
*Vocational counselling / assessment and / or
*Psychometric assessment and evaluation
· Treating medical opinions regarding the individual’s work capacity
· Labour market knowledge regarding supply and demand trends
· Structured employment finding programmes i.e. Job search groups
